For 10 years I climbed the corporate ladder as if there was some magic rung that would make me feel as if I had hit the top. As one of only a few executive women, a mother of two, a great education and ideas I couldn't get support for, I made a change to work for myself and support my own destiny.
Now I'm the owner of a consulting practice that helps growing companies scale. I have a mix of clients, both small and mid-market. I bring in more money than I did when I was employed. And since I have 2 young kids at home, I do this all still with working less than 30 hours per week (even with my husband being a stay-at-home Dad).
